Schools and School boards
Niagara has four public funded school boards that have schools open to teach your children, as well as yourself if needed. The public school boards not only run classes for children during the day, but they have Adult Education classes through the day and evenings for those adults who are looking to refresh their skills, or to learn new ones.
The District School Board of Niagara is the public school board that does not have any religion taught within the classes.
The Niagara Catholic District School Board is the Catholic school board in Niagara that does teach the catholic faith within the class curriculum.
The Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud is the Roman catholic French school board (http://www.csdccs.edu.on.ca/)/.
The Conseil scolaire public de district du Centre-Sud-Ouest is the public French instruction school board in Niagara (CSDCSO).
There are also private schools in Niagara, were you would pay for your child’s education. Below are some of these schools.
As well, Niagara has a University and a College that have numerous certificate, diploma and Degree programs. Both of these Post Secondary Schools are high quality education environments, each offering unique programs to suit yours and potential employers needs.

The Niagara College link will bring you to the Niagara College website. There you will find out about the three campuses, the courses that are offered and the fee schedule and the requirements needed to attend classes.

The Transitions College of Business and Career Studies link will bring you to Niagara Retraining Facility is a school with campuses in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, and Welland. All inquiries are to be directed to the Transitions College Business Offices in Niagara Falls: 905-358-7760
The Child Care link will provide you a list of all of the Child Care centres and pre-schools that are available in Niagara. There are over 150 centres located across the Niagara region that offer child care for varying ages of children. It is important to note that not all of these centres offer care for infant children, and some may have waiting lists.
